Happy almost-October! If things look different as you read this issue, it’s because I’ve moved my newsletter from Mailchimp to Substack.

There are a few reasons for this switch. For starters, Mailchimp is pricey and Substack is free. (As an author who has been trying to sell another book for over two years, this budget adjustment is greatly appreciated.)
